Over the next few weeks in this course, you will play the role of the director of leadership and learning, appointed by the vice president of the leadership and learning department of a company that makes prosthetics. This organization employs over 350 people in its Tampa, Florida, headquarters and three plant locations across the Southwest. In your role, you will evaluate the employee engagement survey results of the company, identifying several leadership skills and behaviors. This evaluation will further help you in developing an adaptive leadership toolkit in Module Four. This toolkit will be required to create individual and organizational leadership knowledge and skills and provide a reference for employees to develop a personal development plan. In the subsequent weeks, you will learn to construct a personal development plan in Module Six for yourself using the adaptive leadership toolkit, consequently leading the organization as an example. Finally, in Module Nine, you will develop a communication strategy for the implementation of the adaptive leadership toolkit in your project.
