Compared to a Database, a Data warehouse accumulates data over time, providing a historical view that allows many intensive features like data mining, whereas a database maintains real-time data. Data leaks, Data marts, and the architectural layout of these storage facilities further add to the complexity and adaptability of the data warehouse. So, a data warehouse is a valuable tool for businesses and organizations to leverage historical data to plan and make critical decisions by giving them insights into their historical patterns. As businesses work to become more data-driven in their decision-making, they must address the current needs for reliable, curated, and integrated data that will only increase in future years. This article highlights the governance, metadata, semantic data integration, warehousing, and cataloging. The updated data warehouse, they highlighted, uses developments in big data technology and self-service data preparation and integration. This new strategy increases data warehouse size, reach, and utility rather than decreasing them. They also have shown the shift in the curve of investment of the present capitalism on these Cloud Based Data warehouses and its significance. In this technologically driven generation, the IT sector focuses on the latest developments like Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence, which made access to these Warehouses easier. Creating and maintaining these warehouses was initially very expensive and demanding. But, due to the present advancement and architecture, these have become reliable, adaptable, and efficient. Businesses, therefore, depend on these resources to reflect on their patterns and decisions.
