This week we are discuss the main dimensions for classification of networked e-business. They are parties, objects, and time scope. The three dimensions define the basic scenarios for e-business. Parties networked gives other parties the ability to combine and preform activities in the e-business scenario that they are participating in. Business (B), Consumer (C) and Government (G) are the three parties that are in the network. The (B) party represents the corporation or commercial organization, the (C) party represents the private party, and the (G) party obviously represents the government organization. The objects dimension represents the values for a product that is traded within the e-business activity. There are few types of descriptions of what the objects can be. Physical, digital, services, financial and hybrid. Typically, two objects are involved when trading. According to the assigned reading, they are financial, and the product being sold. Financial being the payment provided and the product being whatever the object being provided. The times scope dimension is what determines the length of time that e-business interaction lasts. Focusing on the life cycle of the scenario. Static time, dynamic, semi-dynamic, and ultra-dynamic are the ways that time scope is broken down. Static time is when there is a long period of time that the parties will be interacting with each other. Dynamic time is when the collaborations are determined for each e- business order. Semi-dynamic defines that the collaborations are periodic between the parties. Lastly, ultra-dynamic defines collaborations that are changed during the transactions. Grefen, P. (2016).
