The 1918 Spanish flu Epidemic Why are you interested in that topic? This topic interested me, because of how damaging this pandemic was as it affected 1/3 of the population. Topics like this really interest me because of the full-circle moments that come with learning about history.I also am interested to learn the root of the spread,and if something could have been done to stop the massive spread. I also find it interesting to learn how covid and the Spanish flu are similar. You will need a minimum of five full sentences to fulfill this requirement: My initial interest in this topic is , because I believe that the importance of learning history is so that history does not repeat itself. This book provides information and comparisons of modern day pandemics along with history of the spanish flu. This can also aid my project , because the similarities in modern day pandemics can also help understand the state of panic that was happening in the 1900s. This author also studies the cellular biology behind these pandemics which is a unique perspective of history. Overall I think this book will give a unique perspective and better aid my understanding on how millions of people lost their lives. The following photo displays information that I find useful in aiding my project.This book was a must for , because it stood out over all the other books only follow the history of the Spanish Flu where this one gives a history in science of how these pandemics originate , and the historical affects of the way these pandemics affected society immensely, this article compares all the pandemics and how scientific breakthroughs have made it where it can aid a pandemic from spreading ,but how the world has not fully mastered isolating or preventing a new pandemic from forming. This article will be my main focal point of my project because it gives me a unique perspective , and a better understanding of the Spanish Flu.

This I believe will help my research because it breaks down what occurred. This article also comes from a reliable source that focuses on facts and offers a traditional stance unlike the last article which is focused more on comparisons of modern day The following photo displays an example of the information that is supportive of my project. The purpose of this article was to support the facts of what happened during the Spanish flu. This article shows statistic of where the spanish flu originated from and how this epidemis sets apart of othe ones that have happened through out history. This also gives insight of specific people who were affected through out the epidemis. This article also informs of

how the lack of scientific breakthrough caused the lives of millions of people. The article also displays the drastic comparisons of modern day epidemics which aids my reasearch as this is a focal point in my research.
