Explain your reasoning with each recommendation. 1) More affordable transportation for residents who need it. This way those struggling to make ends meet can get a ride to work, medical appointments, and going to and from the grocery store. 2) A neighborhood watch program which would help to stop the violence in the neighborhood and make community members feel safer when out and about. 3) The neighborhood watch members in communication with the local police department so if something happens the officers are there to help out. 4) A bigger police presence in the neighborhood to deter criminals. 5) Residents petitioning for a police department office in the neighborhood to help out with the presence of local law enforcement and to help them have a faster response time when crimes happen. 6) Have more outreach programs that will advocate in the community for better resources and to have more local ones to help residents in need. 7) More organizations that work with training community members and in helping to place residents into better paying jobs. 8) The community members could have a community meeting to talk about their concerns or local community events that are happening. Having the mayor there also to hear what the community members have to say and show that he/she cares about their neighborhood.
