Report
The provider stakeholders in healthcare are individuals or groups with a significant interest or influence in shaping healthcare rules and regulations. This includes patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, government agencies, and advocacy organizations. Essentially, policy stakeholders are the key players who contribute to decisions about how healthcare is organized, funded, and delivered, ultimately affecting the quality and accessibility of healthcare services, and some of the providers are independent businesses that manage their operations and finances. (Ritz, D., Althauser, C., & Wilson, K. (2014)).  Also, the provider stakeholders are primarily focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. These stakeholders shape healthcare policies that influence issues such as licensing requirements, reimbursement models, and quality improvement initiatives, along with balancing the financial sustainability of their practices with the commitment to delivering effective and ethical care.             Provider stakeholders can influence healthcare policy by sharing their experiences and suggesting changes to improve patient care. Stakeholders, such as groups or individuals, might focus on ensuring healthcare is fair, affordable, and meets everyone’s needs. Health care itself, involving providers, patients, and others, can influence policy by showing what works well and needs improvement. For example, if doctors and patients collaborate to share information easily using technology, it could inspire a new policy encouraging more widespread use of such helpful tools in healthcare. Providers use their knowledge to recommend practical improvement, shaping policies that benefit healthcare professionals and those they care for.  (Ritz, D., Althauser, C., & Wilson, K (2014)).             As consumer (patient) stakeholders in healthcare policy, we are the key stakeholders in patient-centered and patient-driven care. Consumer plays a critical role in their medical decision process; my role is similar to using and paying for healthcare services. I’m interested in policies that make health care affordable, transparent, and tailored to my needs. I want to be informed about the coasts, have choices in my healthcare options, and see policies prioritizing high-quality and efficient care. Essentially, my goal is to support policies that ensure I, as a healthcare consumer, have a positive and accessible experience and that the overall system meets the diverse needs of people seeking medical services.
