People have to consume enough energy intakes to function and perform various activities.
That’s why we usually eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having three meals a day is like a
common habit for almost everyone. The concept of eating smaller and more often meals is
also really brilliant and I am sure I would love it. But I can only have three large meals
because of the tight work and life schedule. Somedays, I even eat only two larger meals as
I have no time for the third one. I believe every busy person would do this at some point of
their life. The weekends are exceptions and I usually eat smaller and more often meals in a
day because I have plenty of time for it. I believe it is better than just a normal three meals
because I love to eat the whole time but I usually have very small appetite.
Of course, I believe smaller meals eaten often will definitely help me reduce my appetite
throughout the day because it’s more likely to overeat if we wait too long between the meals
(Zimmerman, M., & Snow, B. (2012). An introduction to nutrition, V1.0. Lardbucket Book
Project).
Nutritional balance and moderation are some of the main factors in balancing a healthy diet.
It is very important to eat all necessary nutrients and not eating only one nutrient while
consuming. Overconsuming of one nutrient can disrupt your healthy balance and even harm
your body. Every nutrient should be consumed in the proper amount (Zimmerman, M., &
Snow, B. (2012). An introduction to nutrition, V1.0. Lardbucket Book Project). To not overeat
is also crucial to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You need to moderate your food and energy
consumption.
Consuming proper nutrients and moderating the meals will help you achieve a wonderful
physical condition. It is also important to remember to keep on track of your health and
condition in every meal and diet. The one important thing to do is to reduce unhealthy meals
and balance or alter your daily or weekly meals according to your needs. A balanced and
healthy diet with proper nutrients and proper nutrient intake will be the greatest medicine
which will keep you healthy for a long time.
