DIGITAL HABITS: Reflect on your digital habits. Look at the statements below and check 1-2 that feel most true for you. I look at my phone or other digital devices when I get a notification even when I'm talking in-person to someone else. For difficult conversations, I communicate by text or email rather than talk in-person, on a phone call, or video call. 2. Write down one of the statements that you checked above in your own words, modifying it to make it more specific or accurate for you personally. If none of these statements feel true to you, feel free to think of another habit that you would like to bring your attention to. 1. Even though I'm working on something else, I look at my phone when a text message comes in. For example, if you have math homework and science homework, you are about to finish your math homework and do your science homework, but if your friend texts you for help with a math problem, they help. I can tell my friend that I'm doing my science homework, so I'll help you after I've finished all the other problems, but I can't. 2. Rather, when solving an easy problem, send a text message to ask, and for a difficult problem, we solve it by talking in real time rather than sending a text message.
