Assessment Task 2 - Project Task instructions This is the second (2) assessment task you have to successfully complete to be deemed competent in this unit of competency. This assessment task comprises a research report. The student is required to complete a research report on the analysis of environmental sustainability of the training organisation’s work practices in this assessment task. You must attempt all criteria to the required level, e.g. the assessment criteria mentioned in the performance checklist needs to be deemed satisfactory in this task. For your trainer/assessor to assess your competency in this assessment task, you must prepare your report by following all instructions outlined. The student must use the templates provided to document their responses. The student must follow the word-limits specified in the templates. Project Task: Research Report This assessment requires you to take on the role of an Operations Manager in your training organisation. You are required to complete a research report on the analysis of environmental sustainability of the training organisation’s work practices. During the preparation of the research report, you will be required to: Consult a range of internal stakeholders to identify the following environmentally sustainable work practices of the training organisation: o Energy consumption management o Water usage management o Waste management Conduct online research and gather information regarding legislative and regulatory requirements and standards related to environmentally sustainable work practices.
