Patience In Macbeth The seemingly lost virtue of patience happens to be one of the most important qualities to determine a person's outcome in life. Both main characters in Macbeth and "Thank You Ma'am" struggle to grasp the importance of patience. However, the results of their flaws of this trait are immensely different. The stories of Macbeth and "Thank You Ma'am" have strikingly similar themes of needing patience, despite the different eras in which they were written. In Macbeth, the main character, Macbeth, is unable to resist the temptation of having the throne, but during this quest he becomes mentally insane. After two long weeks of lectures, and final exams I received a certificate of completion from class. Now that I overcame the class room it was time for my state exam. God and Patience Patience Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet. But what does patience mean actually? According to "Free–Dictionary.com", the definition of patience is the capacity to endure hardship, difficulty, or inconvenience without complaint. Patience emphasizes calmness, self–control, and the willingness or ability to tolerate delay. As we all know, patience is one of the main virtues and is hard work, and costs one. However its fruits, the results and rewards surprises one pleasantly. For me, I believe patience is God's test for us. I believe God has made plans for me to make my life better. Sometimes I would have doubts in God, I would feel He has treated me unfairly or my prayers have not been heard.
