Given information:

C made $105 mowing lawns.

C mowed half as many lawns as dogs walked.

Calculation:

Let x be the number of mowing lawns

Let y be the number of dogs walk

According to question

  $20x+7.50y=105\mathrm{.........}(1)$

  $x=\frac{1}{2}y$ ...........(2)

Substituting $x=\frac{1}{2}y$in the equation (1)

  $20\left(\frac{1}{2}y\right)+7.50y=105$

So,

  $10y+7.5y=105$

So,

  $17.5y=105$

  $y=6$

Substituting $y=6$ in equation (2)

  $x=\frac{6}{2}$

On solving,

  $x=3$

Hence, 6 mowing lawns and 3 dogs walk
