Case summary:
The toys for children are manufactured in different countries and exported to different parts of the world. There are separate safety commissions to check the quality of toys in different countries. Lead was found in some toys and was recalled as it can affect the nervous system and brain of children. Lead was banned in toys, house paint, dishes and others in Country UA.
The ban is not completely effective because many toys are being released into the market with lead content. The children are more vulnerable to lead content when compared with the adults. Person SW of the safety committee says that many manufacturers are still violating the manufacturing standards.
