Introduction:

Many of the muscles that move the hand can be segregated into two groups, namely, the flexors and extensors. The muscles are segregated into three layers, namely, the superficial, intermediate, and deep layers. The three hand flexors that share a common tendon originate from the flexor carpi radialis, flexor carpi ulnaris, and palmaris longus.
