To determine: The role of feedback inhibition and allosteric regulation in a cells
Concept introduction: There would be occurrence of chemical chaos (disorder), if the metabolic pathway of a cell operates simultaneously, so they are operated distinctly. The cell possess an ability to regulate the pathways (metabolic) by controlling the activity of various enzymes. This is done by switching off or on the gene, which encodes for particular enzymes. Allosteric regulation and feedback inhibition are those mechanisms.
