Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic disease that causes fibrosis, ossification and synostosis.

The health concerns related to ankylosing spondylitis.
Introduction:
Mr. D is suffering from ankylosing spondylitis which is a type of arthritis that affects the vertebral column. It is caused by the fusion of bones with each other. The inflammation in the joints is due to abnormal joining of the bones and tendinitis. There is no cure and treatment available for this disorder.
