Summary Introduction

To analyze:

Sprain and the portion of the ankle joint that is commonly damaged in sprain injury.

Introduction:

The ankle joint is highly modified joints formed between distal tibia and fibula with talus. Ankle joint helps in special foot movements, plantar flexion and dorsiflexion. It also has limited eversion and inversion movement. The movement beyond its ability causes ankle injury such as a sprain. A sprain is caused by the tearing of ligament present in the joint. It is most likely to occur in the lateral side.
