Introduction:
Two cells in order to be coupled electrically should be uniform and equal in size approximately and should blend with areas of contact that have very low electrical resistance. This combination of electrically coupled cells is performed by gap junctions. In this junction, the cell membranes are alienated only by 2 nanometers.
