The generator which will produce the most
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:The coil of a generator rotates in a magnetic field producing electric current.
A generator is a device that transform mechanical energy into electric energy. The generator’s coil rotates in the magnetic field of a permanent magnet producing electric current. If the magnetic field strength is increased by increasing the number of turns in the coil, the current produced increases.
Therefore, the generator with double the number of turns of wire produces more electric current than the other one. As the number of turns is double, the magnetic field is more and so the current generated is greater than the other one.
Conclusion: The generator with twice the number of turns of wire generates more electric current.
