To explain: The process of accelerating a car by an internal force of an engine.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Single force does not exist. For every action force there is equal and opposite reaction force.
The engine of a car rotate wheels by applying force on it. Car’s wheel apply a backward force on the road. The road apply a forward reaction force on the car's wheel. Due to this car moves forward.
Conclusion:
The internal force on the engine does not accelerate the car directly. Action and reaction forces between car’s wheel and road, which accelerates the car.
