Question
Chapter 7, Problem 12MC
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Transformation is a process in which the genetic materials are transferred from one bacteria to another bacteria. This passage of genes occurs through two methods, namely conjugation and transduction. Competent cells are the bacterial cells that are triggered to have efficient gene transfer. This triggering of cells was achieved by treating them with chemical or electroporation method.
