$x=y-1$ -----(1)

$-x+y=-1$ ------(2)

Substitute the value of $x$ from equation-(1) in equation-(2)

We get

  $\begin{array}{l}-x+y=-1\\ \Rightarrow -\left(y-1\right)+y=-1\\ \Rightarrow -y+1+y=-1\\ \Rightarrow 1=-1\end{array}$

Which is not true

So there will be no solution.

As both the given equations are parallel lines they do not intersect each other.

  $\begin{array}{l}x=y-1\\ \Rightarrow -x+y=1\end{array}$

  $-x+y=-1$

Therefore, values of x and y are no solution.
