To Discuss: The angle or direction of vector in coordinate system.

Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Vector is a physical quantity. It has both magnitude and direction. Geometrically, it is represented by a line segment having an arrow.
The length of line represents the magnitude while the arrow represents the direction.
Coordinate system:It is an artificial mathematical tool. It is used to represent the position of object, numbers, vectors, etc.
For determining angle of a vector in coordinate system, firstly the tail of the vector is placed at x-coordinate without changing vector’s length and direction.
Now, the angle is measured counterclockwise from x-axis as shown,

Assume that the internal diameter of a Geiger-Mueller tube is 3.00 cm and that the wire along the axis has a diameter of 0.190 mm. The dielectric strength of the gas between the central wire and the cylinder is 1.15 × 106 V/m. Use the equation 2πrlE = 9in to calculate the maximum potential difference that can be applied between the wire and the cylinder before breakdown occurs in the gas. V Anode Cathodearrow_forward
