Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
As the tennis net is stretched from one post to other post all the force applied is horizontal.Since force due to weight of net is in downward direction and there is no perpendicular component of upward force.
To remove the last part of slack requires large force during stretching of net.This force reduces flexibility of net and enhances internal forces which bind it.
