The cytoplasm of the egg rotates around 30 degrees with respect to the poles. This shows by the appearance of the light colored band, which is known as gray crescent. This is formed right opposite to the point from where the sperm enters into the sperm. Fertilization is a process occurs when sperm and eggs fuse together and give rise to an embryo.
