Explanation of Solution

Carrying capacity is the maximum population size that ecosystem support without harming or degrading the ecosystem. Competition, predator-prey interaction, use of resource and the number of populations in an ecosystem affect carrying capacity. If the population exceeds the carrying capacity, the ecological imbalance can be observed in the ecosystem.
