Chapter 4, Problem 5TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction: A biological network consisting of lipids and proteins that detach the interior components of the cell from extra-cellular spaces is called the plasma membrane. It is the lipid–protein bilayer. Proteins are embedded withina lipid bilayer. The plasma membrane is a selectively permeable membrane that regulates the entry and exist of materials needed for cell survival.
