Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

Planck’ constant is the ratio of the energy of the photon to frequency of the incident light. It is used to find the energy of a photon and uncertainty in the momentum and position of the particle by Heisenberg’s principle.

The expression to calculate the energy of the photon is given as,

  E=hν

Where,

  • E is the energy of the photon.
  • h is the Planck’s constant.
  • ν is the frequency of the photon.

The numerical value of the Planck’s constant is 6.67×1034m2kg/s .

Conclusion:

The Planck’s constant is the ratio of the energy of photon and frequency of the photon and energy of the photon is proportional to frequency of the incident light.
