The methods in which the nastic movements and the tropic movements differ from each other.
Introduction:
Plants are unable to move from one place to another like animals however, they have evolved different mechanisms due to which orientation of their body parts changes in response to the external stimuli. The movement of plant parts away or toward a unidirectional stimulus like light and gravity is called tropism. Permanent changes in plant orientation are due to different responses to the external stimuli.
