Introduction: In multi-cellular organisms, hormones are a certain class of signaling molecules that are produced by glands and transported throughout the body by the circulatory system. Hormones have specified the physiological and behavioral function. They travel through blood vessels and reach their target organs to perform their regulatory function. Different cells present in body secrete hormones for executing allotted functions. Heart and kidney cells also secrete some hormones to perform specific functions.
