The term hemostasis has to be explained and it should be identified that whether hemostasis is related to homeostasis or not.
Concept introduction:
Hemostasis is a condition which prevents the loss of blood.
“Hemo” means blood, “stasis” means standing.
Homeostasis is the maintenance of a constant environment in the body. If toxins accumulate in our system, homeostasis would be disrupted, and would become very sick.
“Homeostasis” means “same state”.
