Explanation A spinal nerve : It can be defined as a mixed nerve that carries sensory, motor, and autonomic signals or information between the spinal cord and the remaining body. In the human body, there are present 31 pairs of spinal nerves. These are located one on each side of the vertebral column. A nerve plexus: It is a plexus (branching network) of intersecting nerves. A nerve plexus is composed of afferent and efferent fibers that arise from the merging of the anterior rami of spinal nerves and blood vessels. There are five spinal nerve plexuses, except in the thoracic region, as well as other forms of autonomic plexuses, many of which are a part of the enteric nervous system. The five plexus of spinal nerves and the associated nerves: axillary, phrenic, ilionguinal, obturator, pudendal, radial and sciatic. The crutch paralysis: It is a condition that occurs due to the incorrect use of a crutch.
