Archaea are the group of bacteria that are different from the normal bacteria and inhabit extreme conditions like high temperature, high salinity, and reducing environment. They are distinguished depending on their DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and ribosomal RNA (ribonucleic acid) sequences and are further divided into several small groups, namely, Nanoarchaeota, Creanarchaeota, and Euryarchaeota.
