Introduction:
The liver is a reddish brown-colored gland, and it is an additional digestive organ located nearly inferior to the diaphragm. It fills most of the epigastric and right hypochondriac regions. It is the largest organ in the body, measuring about 1.4 kg (3 lb). Liver has a wide range of functions, but the secretion of bile is the only one function that contributes to the digestion process.
