The urinary system, also termed as the renal system, is comprised of uterus, urinary bladder, kidneys, and the urethra. The main function of this system is to remove waste material from the body and maintain the volume of blood and blood pressure in the body. It also manages the levels of electrolytes, ions, and metabolites, which results in controlled blood pH.
