The function of the renal tubule.
Introduction:
The renal tubule is a long tube that conveys urine from glomeruli (a network of tiny blood vessels) to the renal pelvis. This tubule ends at the tip of a medullary pyramid. Moreover, the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT)that arises from the glomerular capsule (which is located in renal tubule) is the longest region of the renal tubule. It contains epithelial cells. Water and solutes that passes thought this tubule tends to take the paracellularroute between the epithelial cells.
