Chapter 25, Problem 12CYR
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The buffer systems in the human body are made up of a weak acid and its weak conjugate base. It prevents the changing of the pH of the solution. When astrong acid or base is added to the solution, the resulting weak base or weak acid neutralizes the pH of the solution. It helps in maintaining the acid-base homeostasis of the body.
