Introduction:

In proximal tubule, water reabsorption is proportional to reabsorption to the solute. Thus, the filtrate has the same level of concentration power as that of interstitial fluid. In case of the nephron loop, the concentration of the filtrate changes on entering the loop, which is due to the difference in permeabilities of the two limbs of the same.
