Question
Chapter 23.9, Problem 16CYU
Summary Introduction
To review:
The three groups of stimuli that influence the short-term regulation of feeding behavior.
Introduction:
The body weight remains stable when the energy intake and energy output are balanced. The regulation of food intake can be short-term or long-term, depending upon the hormones and the stimuli involved. The arcuate nuclei, lateral hypothalamic area and ventromedial nucleus of the hypothalamus are involved in the regulation of feeding behavior.
