Concept explainers
Why do you feel less chilly if you dry yourself inside the shower stall after taking a shower?
The reason to feel less chilly if you dry yourself inside the shower.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction: The chilly means cooling effect.
The moment one comes from the shower into a dry room, one will feel chilly due to evaporation that takes place suddenly. But if one dries oneself inside the shower one will not feel chilly because inside shower, there is more vapor present which will start condensing and this will nullify the effect of evaporation and one will feel that the body temperature does not change.
Conclusion:
As the temperature of body does not change too much, the body will not feel chilly.
