Introduction:

Brucella is Gram-negative, nonmotile, aerobic coccobacillus that lack capsule. The species Brucella melitensis of this bacterium causes brucellosis in humans which is transmitted by affected animals. The signs and symptoms of the brucellosis are characterized by fluctuating fever which spike usually in afternoon, chills, headache, sweating, muscle pain, and weight loss.
