Why the winter frosts stopped the yellow fever epidemics and if yellow fever epidemics could reappear in the United States.

Introduction:

Yellow fever is a viral disease which is caused by the Flavivirus. This is an RNA virus of the family Flaviviridae. The female mosquito (Aedes aegypti) is a main reservoir for the yellow fever virus which acts as a vector for the yellow fever. The mosquitoes infect mainly humans and other mammals. The clinical features of the yellow fever involve high fever, internal bleeding, cell death of liver and kidney cells, and hemorrhagic conditions may occur.
