Summary Introduction

To explain:

The method (genomic library or $\text{cDNA}$) that will be good for molecular biologist, if he wants to isolate a gene from a scorpion that encodes a deadly toxin, and transfer that gene to bacteria to produce commercial pesticide using that toxin.

Introduction:

DNA library is a collection of DNA fragments that are cloned in a vector. There are two types of libraries namely: genomic DNA and $\text{cDNA}$ libraries. Genomic library is a collection of total genomic DNA from a single organism. DNA is stored in the vector and each vector contains different inserted DNA. $\text{cDNA}$ contains all cloned $\text{cDNA}$ fragments that are inserted into the host cell, which combine and make some portion of transcriptome of the organism.
