To review:

The reason as to why the issue that cell phones cause brain cancer is difficult to resolve with respect to the scientific point of view.

Introduction:

Cancer is caused by a variety of factors, which causes mutations making normal genes oncogenic, which starts dividing abnormally leading to tumor formation. Of all the cancers, brain cancer is considered one of the serious as it is difficult to treat. Cell phones causing brain cancer is one of the major trivia these days. Radio frequency emitted by cell phones is not considered to be carcinogenic as no scientific studies are yet available. There are uncertainties with respect to long-term exposure to radio frequency.

A woman is near death from a special kind of cancer. There is one drug that doctors know will save her, with 100% certainty, but it is very expensive. The sick woman's husband cannot afford the medicine. He explains the situation to the druggist, but the druggist refuses to give him the drug. Having tried every legal means, the husband gets desperate and considers breaking into the man's store to steal the drug for his wife. Should the husband steal the drug? Why or why not? Should the husband be punished for stealing? Why or why not? What if the drug only had a 50% chance of working? 1%? Does this change your assessment?
A controversial issue, closely related to cloning, that has caused a lot of debate is the use of embryonic stem cells. One possible application of these cells is that they may be able to supply replacement tissues to treat diseases such as Parkinson's disease, diabetes, paralysis due to spinal cord injuries, and other degenerative diseases. The word "embryonic", has caused fierce opposition to this type of research because embryos are destroyed when the stem cells are removed. Questions that have surfaced in this debate include: When a cell nucleus is transferred to another cell, have we created life? Does a stem cell have the same status as a human? What should be done with the embryos that are leftover at in vitro fertilization (IVF), clinics? Advocates argue that the medical benefits of stem cell research would be enormous. Opponents argue that life begins at conception and thus this type of research is abortion. Based on what you have read, explain why you are for or against stem…
What are medical errors, why is it always a medical error, and what do we do to eradicate them?
