Chapter 18, Problem 2CR
Summary Introduction
To review:
The important changes in cancer cells that take place that makes metastasis possible.
Introduction:
Tumor or a lump is formed when cells divide uncontrollably. These lumps can be of a benign tumor (that does not spread) or malignant tumors (that spreads throughout the body). This is the reason why benign tumors can be easily removed as they adhere to one site and removing them from the body prevents the tumor from spreading.
