Introduction:
T (thymic) lymphocytes are part of the immune system. They are produced from stem cells inside the bone marrow. They offer protection against infectious disease and, therefore, can help combat them. They are also called thymocyte and T cell. T lymphocytes (T cells) use surface antigen receptors to permit external antigen to get identified.
