Introduction:

Amino acids are carboxyl and amino group-containing molecules that help in the formation of proteins. There are approximately 20known amino acids. These are broadly categorized into two categories; EAA (essential amino acids) and NEAA (nonessential amino acids). EAA can be defined as those amino acids that cannot be synthesized by the body, while NEAA is easily formed within the body.
