Structural isomer is a term in which molecular formula is same. Connectivity of the different atoms present in a molecule changes. Due to different connectivity of the atoms, physical properties of structural isomers also changes. More than two structural isomers are also possible, depending upon the given molecular formula. Structural isomers of pentane with molecular formula C5H12 are shown below.
