1. Find a number between 3.8 and 3.9, and plot all three numbers visibly and distinctly on a number line like the one in Figure 1.54. Your labeling of the tick marks should fit with the structure of the base-ten system.
2. Describe how to use money to find a number between 3.8 and 3.9.
