Introduction:

The matrix structure of an organization involves specialists from varying departments and functions who are assigned a particular project. The employees are headed by a project head and after the completion of the specified task, the employees return back to their roles.

The project structure of the organization helps in establishing the coordination and the implementation of the project activities in the organization. It thus deals with the creation of the environment in the organization which fosters the involvement and relationship of the members of the organization in accomplishing a given project.
