Interpretation:
The substance with a higher boiling point is to be determined.
Concept introduction:
The various kinds of interactions that bind a molecule are known as intermolecular forces. These can be dispersion, dipole-dipole, ion-dipole, and hydrogen bonding.
The boiling point of a compound varies with the intermolecular forces and the molar mass of a substance. If there are strong intermolecular forces, the boiling point is high, and vice versa. The substance with a higher molar mass and a larger size has a higher boiling point.
